Dam Removal

South Middleton Dam - Ipswich River

Dam Removal is an important aspect of the restoration and resiliency of Massachusetts watersheds. The South Middleton Dam removal project on the Ipswich River is an ongoing effort that, if realized, will give native fish species access to 50 miles of upstream river, and restore many of the vital habitat aspects of a healthy river system.
